The NGO's feel it is too dangerous to attempt to disarm landmines. When they find a landmine, they mark the spot, and remotely detonate it later. This movie also seems insane. But, if Akira can crack one open like a coconut, it seems that NGOs should be also able to disarm them safely. [Landmines]
