Life to you is a dashing and bold adventure

An original "geek", Burning Man before the lines, survived the dot-com boom and bust. Seven years backpacking around the world, posting from cybercafés before "travel blog" was a phrase. Ended up in questionable and dangerous places like Syria, Sudan, Myanmar, a minefield in Cambodia, and walking through tribal lands into Ethiopia.

After returning to the USA, I spent a decade living aboard a boat in California, working as a harbormaster and throwing parties on the water.

Now I'm in a house in the hills of central Mexico, and on the road again.

Geekeasy Archive

Geekeasy was online before Google or Facebook.

Hotel Geekeasy 1996

It began as the website for a geek house with the UC Santa Cruz geeks being among the very first people being social online.

This Is Me Not At Work 1999–2000

The second iteration of the site was one of the first travelogues on the internet.

Adam Katz, World Traveler 2001–2008

The third version was a major (for it's time) travel site.
